Roberto was a former design engineer for Dallara when he left them for a short while to work on the Coloni and Euroracing cars in the late 1980's. However the separation was very short and Roberto still works at his local racing manufacturer, Dallara, in the design team, having worked there since 1982. Ori's car, the FC187, had a brand new DFZ engine with a double wishbone suspension, but the results didn't really come together. Roberto worked on chassis design for a while before returning to Dallara. Ori still lives in Parma.
