Active in the sport, particularly in California, between 1935 and 1946, but didn't really have much success. Bruce attempted to qualify a Greene-Holland Plymouth engined car for the Indianapolis 500, but failed to qualify. Greene was Donald J. Greene and Holland was Ivan W. Holland, both of Los Angeles, who entered their own six-cylinder rear drive mount. For many years, Bruce himself lived in Canoga Park, California.
